Mini Party — a DIY music player for kids.

The Mini Party lets your kids listen to streaming music, without giving them access to anything else that a regular phone or tablet would have, like web browsing, games and videos.

This project was born out of a desire to give kids access to music, without giving them unlimited screen time. Follow the instructions on this page to build your own, anyone can do it.

The Mini Party app is an Android application which you run on your device. The app comes with the following features:

• Built-in Spotify, Apple Music and Audible
• A parent or guardian can control which services are available to the kids
• Dead-simple, kid-friendly interface
• Passcode-protected parental settings
